Cali Lineberry Narrative Essay
This fiasco all started on a school day when I got called down to the office. I was shocked. My parents didn't tell me they were picking me up today. Wait, what if it's someone trying to kidnap me? I don’t wanna get kidnapped! So I decided to go down to the office anyway. I saw my parents and my siblings when i walked in. I asked what was going on and they said we are going on a cruise! I was so excited that we would be going to the Bahamas! We had so much stuff in the car we were all packed like sardines in there. It was also kinda smelly too. The drive to the loading dock was short and luckily, we made it on time and got onto the boat. For the first few days it was so fun! But then our worst nightmare came true.

A storm had started and a jumbo wave hit the ship taking everyone out. The ship began to sink and everyone rushed to get into the emergency rafts on the boat. My family found a piece of the ships wood we decided to climb on since the rafts were full. We saw a young girl my age trying to swim in our path so we pulled her up onto our plank. She was unconscious and wasn't breathing. We saw a small deserted island and decided to settle there until we could get some help. My mom performed CPR on the girl and she was able to gain consciousness
