Sisters My sisters, Isabelle and Sophia, love me unconditionally- even if they don’t show it. And of course I love them too, only sometimes do they drive me crazy. Isabelle, who is three years older than me, is very studious and loves school. She has had straight A’s her whole educational career, and I’m sure will continue to. She plays varsity soccer, and runs track. She excels in band as first chair flute. She is also very motherly when she feels need be, which can get on everyone’s nerves. Her mood and attitude get her in trouble quite often, though. I follow very closely in Belle’s footsteps. The night school let out for summer, Sophia and I were at our neighbor’s house playing “Ghosts in the Graveyard” with other neighborhood friends. I was down the road a little, searching for the “Ghost” when someone shrieks the affirmative call of “GHOST IN THE GRAVEYARD!!” from behind me. I turn and make a dead sprint beeline back to base, which happens to be Alexa’s front porch. I easily evade the ghost and coast onto the cement base. Then, on of the kids comes running up to me and quickly yells, “Lily, Sophie’s hurt.” and motions for me to follow. Now, Sophia is known to often fake an injury for attention and drag it out for a while, but I knew I had to check on her anyway. I trot behind the messenger until we are at Jack’s house in the driveway. There, the instant I see Sophia, I know she isn’t faking. She is laying on her side, gingerly cradling her left arm and her right leg is making circular motions in the air, a funny but serious sign of real pain. I told the kids to stay with Sophie while I went to go get my dad. I ran between yards as fast as my legs would carry me before lift off, retrieved my dad and drove back over with him.
