Robert & Larry’s Football Life Robert, a tall, 6’9” African American was born and raised in Mississippi all his life with his best friend Larry. They have been friends since the 5th grade and have stuck with each other ever since. They are almost like brothers. They are now freshman in high school and they want to play football. April 7, 2012 Robert saw this football poster on the wall and he told Larry that they both should try out for football to get their weight, strength and height up so they won’t get picked on in school and everybody will like them. Robert looked at Larry and realized that nobody could take his place as his best friend in the world. After they had the party the whole football team went home a got rest so they could pick which college to play for, while also getting their education at the same time. Robert and Larry knew exactly which college they wanted to go play for because they always grew up in Baton Rouge, Alabama. It was easy to pick from The University of Oregon & The University Of Alabama. Robert and Larry looked at each other in excitement and said, “This is it man, we finally made it.” Larry and his family were all dressed up in Alabama gear because he already made up in his mind that he was going to play for that school. It was time for Larry to pick and all the people was around and at home watching on TV to see what team he wanted to play for. Then history went down that Larry Washington chose to play for The University Of Alabama. But Robert on the other hand was scared because he didn’t want to get hurt by playing football because he didn’t have a backup job but he finally made up in his mind that he will play with Larry and be the “Doom brothers” together.
