Track Meets “Alright, that's it for tonight,” said coach Sanchez, giving everyone a smile as Dakota went and ran again. Dakota was the last person off the track because he is the fastest runner on his track team, so he had special training to do. This took up a lot of his time. He was your average boy, but with a fast average running speed, and low grades. So he isn’t such an average boy. He is a kind boy, who loves to run, and be in peace and quiet. He had all C’s, except for math, which he had a B in, and his average running speed in the 100 meter dash is 11.39 seconds. His fastest time running in the 100 meter dash was 10.45 seconds. On his way home, he stopped to get groceries, like milk, eggs, and steak. He lived alone, and made his own meals. The next morning, he went to school, forgetting his homework and being late for class. He had a normal day though, talking to his friends, eating lunch, and getting yelled at. After school, he put on his track suit, and went to his track meet, and impressed everyone (the rest of his team,) by making an unofficial record for running the 100 meter dash, and the time was 10.43 seconds! As he went home, he thought of what to eat, because he had leftover potatoes, then he thought about steak and baked potatoes with corn. So that was what he got. As he was eating, he remembered what he would do, so he did all of his makeup work, and finished eating at 9:00 PM, which is 3 hours after practice. The next morning, he ate leftover steak and corn, and did his homework, and ran off to school. Thankfully he wasn’t late for any of his classes, got all of his work done, got his grades up a little, and was able to stay on the track team.
