Education inherits the ability to surpass limitations of time and situations, sparking potential even in the darkest shadows. Education is a driving force that can shape and change people’s lives, leading them to find their purpose, reinvent themselves, and discover a sense of belonging. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s dedication to his educational quest serves as an example for everyone, as he faced challenges reflecting his transformation through education. Dr. King is seen as an inspiration for people to look toward brighter futures. Safety of Numbers employs education to shape the narrator's identity, while also using it to show a sense of belonging.
