Joe Nguyen was born and raised in San Diego. After completing his undergraduate degrees in Neuroscience and Environmental Toxicology at the University of California in Riverside, he moved to the Northeast to continue his education at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. While there, he learned strong foundations in comprehensive treatment planning for better patient care. After finishing dental school, Dr. Nguyen’s educational pursuits led him to the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine for his periodontics residency. While in the program, he gained extensive knowledge in treatment planning and surgery. He served as chief resident in his final year and was a resident advisor to the student periodontics
