I am proud and honored that I was recognized to be a part of the National Honor Society. I believe that the National Honor Society is a great opportunity for me because I will be able to share my ideas, learn from others, improve my society, and It will help me later on when I apply for Colleges and Universities. I try to get all the opportunities that will help my education because I believe that education is the key to every successful and Independent woman that wants to make a change in this world. Being the eldest and the only girl among four boys made me a very strong person that has a lot of leadership. My four brothers view me as their role model. When comes to my character I am a type of student who works on both academic and character excellence. I always try to improve my personality and make sure to represent myself, my family, and my school in a good manner. I always treat people like how I want to be treated and even if they are not nice to me I still treat them nice because this is how my parents raise me to be. I make sure that integrity, respect, and kindness are big aspects of my character because I believe that is what makes a good character. In school, I work hard in everything I do and make sure to get good grades because I think this is the way I can make a change in society. When it comes to service I take it as a way to give back to my society and help the people around. I always baby set for relatives and neighbors and I clean public places from trash. I always try to help the students in my school and I am always there to help with anything. I might to not be enrolled in big programs or clubs for volunteering but what I do are not hours on a piece of paper that will make me look good when I apply for college. When I volunteer I do it because I enjoy it and I do not want anybody to be left behind
