Blake English III Rhetoric and parallel structure Necking The popular phenomenon known as “necking” was very popular in the early 2000’s, but this has recently made a comeback for some at central. “Necking” consists of someone saying something that you believe is wrong or unintelligent of them to say, and you slapping their neck (lightly), and saying “that's a neck.” Variations include, “That's a neck, boy,” and, “Neck!” If someone false necks you, meaning that they did it for no apparent reason, you then would have the opportunity to neck them two times in return.
