TITLE The world society lives in today is known as for the drastic technological advancements that are a part of the social networking world. Before people get of bed in the morning to start the day, their social media apps have more than likely been opened and glanced through. Social networking sites gave family, friends, and new people the capabilities of lighting speed connection no matter the locations. “More Facebook Friends, Fewer Real Ones, Says Cornell Study” Potter states, “... the number of truly close friends people cited has dropped - even though we’re socializing as much as ever’’. With communication being at an all time high, and communication apps being on modern technology it makes it easy on people to talk with others no matter the place. Acts like going face to face with another person is slowly working its way out, and with it close friends. Socialization is going up with social networking sites, but is brings down the number of close friends. Facetime, tweets, text, and snapchats became the new forms of communication around today’s society. Communication has changed as a result of the new social media sites.
