Integrity is the common theme that guides the employees of the district. Integrity is always doing the right thing even when it’s the hard thing. Also, it can be defined as being honest and having strong moral principles. Integrity is not only an important trait for the district to have, but also for a person. I believe that having a set of morals is what defines a person.
I have worked under a few different administrators that were not genuine and always seemed to say exactly what you wanted to hear rather than telling the truth. This lack of authenticity eroded the system from the inside out and made it so that not one teacher sought out those administrators. We all felt the lack of follow through and the trust had vanished. Without being honest and sincere I feel that administrators lose the following of the staff and lose admiration from staff and students as well. I was drawn to what Evans stated when he claimed, “…leadership begins at one’s center” (144).
Given these points, acting in a manner with integrity is to be honest, caring for own reputation, and not neglecting your current issues. It also means being mature and dealing with life’s
Integrity and reputation are values humans have cherished ever since the beginning of time. In excess integrity and reputation can lead to hubris having an unwarranted amount of self-importance. Integrity affects not only adults and celebrities, but also young children. But what will one do to keep their integrity and reputation upheld is the real test, a crucible that will take their whole strength to confront. Some may be willing to die and suffer to keep their name and pride.
Furthermore, being able to listen I can understand the views of others and it gives me new perspectives and approaches on how to keep the school up & running as well as making the school year better. Finally one more quality I bring to ASB is that I am not afraid to ask for help if I need it. Having this quality helps by making it okay to be vulnerable and establishes trust between myself and leadership, myself and my other ASB counterparts, myself and faculty, and finally myself and the whole student body. Asking for help promotes cooperation between everyone & shows how important it is to not take it all on yourself and with all different parts especially for an event will help make everything better in the long
Integrity can be defined as being honest and having strong morals. Being able to balance one’s own integrity and professional responsibility is what determines how successful they will be. If someone’s personal integrity and professional responsibility aren’t balanced, they will interfere with or hinder the other. Ultimately, a person is successful if they can balance their personal integrity and professional responsibility.
Every student may have a different aspect of life and school, but there is a mutual understanding between every student and staff. Regardless of what your age, race, gender, or ethnicity, the school makes every attempt to better everyone equally. I share this sentiment about the school to everyone in hopes that someday I can come back and teach on this campus. By becoming an instructor, I wish to inspire students like me to reach outside of themselves and pursuit their dream much like I am today. After my last semester, I will miss this community; taking only with me the thought that it saved me and changed my life for the better.
I will understand that every student is different and embrace every challenge. My goal is to strive as a positive role model by influencing moral character with
The multitude of assignments with their vast range of topics along with the many tests and projects I have completed has allowed me to adopt the moral virtues of competence and diligence. These virtues deal with the preparedness required to accept technical jobs and the level of detail necessary to complete said technical jobs respectively. In contrast, the main intellectual virtue I have acquired is integrity. Integrity is strictly monitored and is even incorporated in Texas A&M academics through the Aggie Code of Honor which states that an Aggie does not lie, cheat, or steal or tolerate those who do. By obtaining and accepting the previously stated virtues as my own, I will be able to flourish indefinitely throughout my
Leonardo Da Vinci once said, “Learning Never Exhausts The Mind.” This describes the upcoming tests and events yet to come of my eighth grade year. There are various new challenges and experiences that come with the title of being an eighth grader. I hope to tackle every experience effectively and maturely. As eighth graders we have numerous occasions to prove ourselves as mature young adults.
I will look to my sympathy for others as an establishment for ethical choice. I will adhere to the laws that administer the operations of the institution under my leadership. I will put the educational needs of students as my first need. I will measure discretionary activities taking into account: Integrity, reasonableness and value, magnificence, mankind, and long haul
I enjoy being a part of something bigger than myself and having the opportunity to impact someone’s life-however small the difference. Personally, I believe that modeling is the most effective way to lead. I try my best to make choices that I know will represent myself and the important aspects of my life(clubs, leadership positions, family, etc.) in a positive way. How will you serve first year students as a resource on campus? Being available and able to be selfless when the time calls is important as a peer mentor.
Although there are many qualities that one could possess that are equally important in displaying professionalism, there are two qualities that I believe a student must have in order to display professionalism, those two qualities are accountability and altruism. One major component that I believe a student should possess to exude professionalism is accountability. Accountability is being able to assume responsibility for any and all actions. Acknowledging personal accountability and accepting all consequences for their actions is a great way for a student in a doctor of physical therapy programs to display professionalism.
The ones who value their integrity highly are the good people in this world, and the opposite is true for those who do not value their integrity. Some examples of integrity and being dishonest. Examples of Integrity are to keep your promises even if it takes extra effort, go back to a store and pay for something you forgot to pay for, return money that you noticed someone dropped without expecting a reward, and there is so much more examples to be honest and to have integrity. Examples of dishonesty is leading your work to another student, turning in any work that has been stolen, looking at another students answers during a test or quiz, cheating on a test or
Integrity is a very valuable principle, by definition integrity is the quality of being moral and honest. Basically, integrity is how you behave when nobody is watching. For example, a person with integrity would not cheat simply because they know nobody would find out. When a leader exhibits and exemplifies this trait, the standards and values of an organization are being successfully reinforced. A leader would exercise this integrity by making honest decisions.
