Do the Negatives outweigh the Positives when it comes to smoking Marijuana In Colorado today, there are more marijuana dispensaries than Starbucks. Did you know that George Washington grew marijuana and it was the first thing ever sold on the internet? What I am trying to say is marijuana is on the uprise and it keeps going up. Over 55 million americans smoke it, vape it, inhale it, or eat it each year, but do they really know what they are putting inside their body? People use marijuana in many different ways. Some smoke it, vape it, consume it, brew it in teas, and use it in oils. Different ways of taking the drug affect you differently. For example, when you smoke it or vape it, it goes straight into your lungs and then into your brain and organs. This way gets you “higher” faster than eating or drinking it. Research has shown that using marijuana can lead to depression, anxiety, and even neglect. Research has shown that people who are using marijuana disconnect with their family members. It also says that they believe that the family members are the ones that are blamed by the user for no reason. They also get very hungry while on the drug.
