(Apollo 13: Facts About NASA’S Near-Disaster,2017) January 28, 1986 at the Kennedy space station, tragedy struck the crew aboard the Challenger. NASA’s first in flight tragedy occurred. The Challenger was launched and when it reached about 46,000 feet, the fuel tank collapsed and caused the shuttle to burst into pieces killing all 7 crew members. The disaster suspended NASA from sending anyone to space for three years, because the disaster could have been prevented.(Rachel Crane and Bryce Urbany,2016) Being an astronaut requires at least $168,000 for schooling. You will need to be able to able to fly and be within a certain height and blood pressure. You shouldn't be a nervous wreck or claustrophobic. Conducting research and experiments will be part of your job. There is no guarantee you will be safe and
