"The internet of today, is a disaster. People are always debating on social media over such small things, sometimes this creates unnecessary fights, when just instead people could just politely type their opinions. There's also less major problems like the problem of narcissism, this makes us of the Americans lose our glory and pride, causing us to be humiliated without us realizing how stupid we make ourselves look. Social Media is not the only problems we struggle with, there's also major illegal actions that are and can be caused by the internet. For example, the internet causes, scams, selling illegal items,and other such problems can take place in the internet. However, there's a way to possibly solve this problem, net neutrality. Net neutrality is a action to tax people or slow the process of accessing a certain site.
Net neutrality could be used to slow down the process of accessing a social media site, this could possibly discourage the use of social media. If there are less people using social media, there would be less cyberbullying, unnecessary fights, scams, cases of school shootings and many more effects. They could manipulate our data by interfering the data flow by slowing down or blocking traffic. For example, a phone company could mess with you calls. You could be ordering pizza from Domino’s and the call has frequent dropped calls and bad connections just because pizza hut is paying them.
