Do you ever think of giving up in hard situations such as running, fighting, and others probably but it is very smart to not give up in those situations or you will never succeed as much as others who don’t give up. A common theme is, never give up an it is in John Henry, Harriet Tubman: Guide to Freedom and it is a good theme. Although it is hard to do this theme you will become a very successful person if you follow this theme. Although every thing came to John Henry when he was a kid, he probably had struggles growing up in his life, such as not having a dad witch sucks and he had to push through people talking, problems like just not having a dad in general it’s hard to push through. And in John Henry he shows this by not giving up when he is hammering the bolts into the train tracks. And this can happen mentally too, he showed that by him thinking he would give up but he didn’t. An Harriet Tubman does this by not giving up on the people or not letting the people give up on them self she also shows that in the book by pointing a gun at someone or lying to not put their hope down. She also needed to depend on people for food and if she couldn’t reach them, she would be starving and she would be dealing with ten or so people that are starving too. They and her too suffered that it was definitely a struggle and they would have to push through those times witch they couldn’t give up or they would have been caught or killed.
