Abstract
The New Afton copper-gold project is located 350 km northeast of Vancouver and 10 km west of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. It is located in the semiarid south Thompson Valley. (InfoMine, 2014), as you can see in Figure 1, the image on the left shows how far is New Afton mine from Vancouver, BC, and the right image shows a satellite view from the space.

In fact, close to 25% of the mine’s employees are from First Nations (Anonymous, 2012).
And they called this program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). New Gold recognized that the money they invest in people, would make benefits for the company, especially because a happy worker can produce more than a worker who is upset and don’t like his or her work, and this is exactly how the both parts are benefited with this program, people learn and acquire skills, obtain qualified jobs, education for their children, health and a lot of things that would make the community a better
