The Untied States was established in 1776, the farmers of America created the Constitution. Written in the Constitution are the three branches of government: the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. Just as God appointed leaders for his people to guide them in the right direction so did we. Our police help enforce our laws, as part of the Executive branch, to the common people, with the mindset of keeping civilians safe and guided in the right direction. The largest city in the Untied States has around 36,000 officers today enlisted to keep it safe. Women were hired as Police Matrons to give fair treatment and transport of female prisoners and arrestees. Initially there were four and in 1895 the first woman, Minnie Gertrude Kelly, worked in the headquarters as a secretary to the Police Board.
