The New York Stock Exchange first goes back hundreds of years ago to the early born America in 1792. It all started with the signing of the Buttonwood Agreement that was signed by 24 New York City stock brokers on May 17th. But the Stock exchange did not officially open until March 8th 1817. The New York stock exchange has seen numerous key events strike, but some of the most memorable and key events are the following. On September 16th of 1920, a bomb went off killing a sum of 33 people and injured more than 400. The perpetrator was never found. Maybe one of the most important and historical events in the stock markets history was the Crash on 1929. Most people think this was what caused the great depression, but really this just pushed the U.S deeper in the hole. Another major scary moment for americans happened in 1987, when the stock market saw the second most biggest drop in a single day. This is what was called a mini crash and the market dropped 22%. I think this will be great for the economy and already has done some pretty good things for the american taxpayer. I think investing in almost any company is almost certain to earn you money at this rate. If I had a do over in a company to pick or invest in I would chose something that is new and growing instead of a company that has been around for many years. As I have been watching more recently those are the type of companies that almost never go down, like Chick Fil A for example. I think the sudden rise in the stock has some to do with the business cycle plain and simple, but also some to do with Donald Trump.
