New York City has fascinated me since a 5th grade field trip to the Statue of Liberty. New York University, like the city, is the epitome of an urban environment, combining numerous cultures and societies to develop the melting pot of our society. I will be applying to the Stern School of Business, and wish to follow the footsteps of some of the greatest alumni of the school, such as Alan Greenspan and Walter Nils Frank. I plan on majoring in Business and Political Economy (BPE). The economy, and economics as a whole, is a language that I aim to master over the next four years, and this major accomplishes that goal. With a degree in the political economy, I am able to combine two fascinating subjects, politics and economics, to learn and
