I am born and raised in Nicaragua. The Nicaraguan culture reflects the predominant mixture of cultural heritage originated in the Indian idiosyncrasy (mostly Chorotega and Nahual), Spanish and African. The most outstanding feature of the Nicaraguan people is their kindness, which you can notice right away, as is always willing to help and give you their friendship. Arriving in Nicaragua quickly it will observe the custom of asking many questions, it is one of the ways in which the opening to meet other people see. Nicaraguan will ask anything, many times this is perceived by many foreigners as disrespect, daring or improper, but people must understand that this is for a unique common and is a natural way to establish social contact.

Cultural expressions serving in our lives that are essential in terms of our status as human beings; that is, are part of processes that perform instinctively and almost unconsciously. On the one hand, as expressions of beauty, some manifestations are a human need and, on the other, are the means through that which explaining and giving meaning to our environment and ourselves, are the mechanism used for the construction of meaning . But in addition, cultural expressions have great potential as actors in the development process aimed at improving the quality of life for all in the promotion of peaceful coexistence in the individual and collective economic development, strengthening of the democratic system, and the expansion of knowledge and skills that allow us to access and multiply the opportunities available.
