“All Things Go,” by Nicki Minaj is the first and most serious song off of her album “The PinkPrint.” In the song, she talks about the hardships she faced. Some of these include gang trouble, drug use, and death. The lyric “life is a movie, but there will never be a sequel,” is in my opinion a strong lyric that expresses her hardships. To her, the lyric shows that she is living in the moment and not in the future or the past. To me the lyric means to make the most out of the one life you have. Which in my opinion is the only amount of chances you need to conquer your dreams. These words show two things. The first is that you only have one life and you need to live it. By that i mean to take risks and live your life to the fullest. I believe this is also what Minaj meant when she wrote this lyric. This lyric also shows that you need to make the most out of your life. To me it shows that I need to follow my dreams. It means that with my one chance I can conquer my dreams. These words make me feel very passionate about my dreams. They make me want to spread my wings and soar in the world of the theatre.
