Short Story Of Nicki's Easiest Life

The basis of this short story is of a girl now named Nicki who didn 't have the easiest life of her original past which is known as Onika. Onika is now the bird of her soul that holds all the memories of her past and is always there to remind of her of the life she had before she became known as Nicki.

Before i get myself started on this story there is a few things you should know about who Onika is to Nicki and how they are connected to each other. Onika never had the easiest life as a person, yes her family was very big on the whole church scene, but her family wasn 't the perfect imagery of someone you would think to be in a church choir. Her father was an alcoholic and he was addicted to drugs, he also has a very bad temper, when Onika, when she wasn 't just the soul that lived from the past of Nicki, was only five years old her father burned their house down to the ground. She has had a tough life since then; crying herself to sleep each night in terror of what might happen …show more content…

While Onika was processing this information the bedroom door slowly creaked open, realizing it was Nicki coming back into her room Onika tried to flee the scene but she kept falling down and stumbling and it was too late for her to make it out, as Nicki already noticed the strange bird that was Onika injured on the desk in her room as she slowly crept over to Onika and Nicki just looked down in awe and wept the words

“aw, poor bird” as they seeped out of her mouth.

Nicki then gingerly picked up Onika in her arms and realized that she had a scratch across her stomach. Nicki left the room leaving Onika lying on her desk by the window and a few moments later, she came back with a first aid kit and opened it up so she could clean up the wound.

“ it’ll be okay, you’re safe, it’s okay.” Nicki cooed the words to Onika in
