Disguises are very hard to understand because they give different appearances to people than what they actually are. There are many people in this world that have disguises from helping people to hurting people or tricking them. Disguises really relate to the taming of the shrew because there are many characters that are disguising themselves for many different reasons, one interesting character that disguised himself was Petruchio, he was very kind at first and then when he got what he wanted he turned very rude.

Petruchio’s disguise is going from kind and caring to very rude and only caring about himself. He wears this disguise because he wants to be with Kate, but not just for her he wants her fathers' money. No one could figure him out at first and were unsure about his actions and his behavior. When he got married to Kate he then got what he wanted which was money he stopped being nice. After the disguise was removed and he was being mean, he started to starve kate and make her not sleep. The only reason he married her was for her money and her fathers' money. No one could really read Petruchio so nobody knew that he was actually in this for the money. He also tricked kate when they got married, he disrespected her at there own wedding and made her leave their own reception. But that is not all when they got home they were going to eat steak, and as soon as she was going to take a bite he makes up a reason for her not to eat. He also stopped her from sleeping by making up some excuse like the bed is too squishy, or the bed is too hard for her to sleep
