The Nintendo Entertainment System Technology is becoming more advanced every single day. Children born in the new millennium are used to playing games with realistic graphics and stunning sound. That is why the creation of the Nintendo Entertainment System is very fascinating. Before they became widely popular across the nation, Nintendo actually had a interesting start up. Before the release of the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Atari consoles, both technology and entertainment barely intertwined. In the early 1970's, people only saw technology and entertainment when they went to the movies and arcades. Atari introduced the world to home video games (Snead). The Atari 2600 had very simple games that had no story or meaning. This, however, did not stop Atari, since their video games thrived in the late 70’s. But their company took a turn for the worst due to poor game designs and terrible sales starting in the early 80’s. Since the economic crash, everybody thought that video games were a dead fad. But that didn't stop Nintendo of America, as they encountered various setbacks trying to rejuvenate their business and finally released the Nintendo Entertainment System, or the NES.
