The evolution of Nintendo system and games has changed their gaming designs and feature throughout the progression of technology. Since 1980 to 2017, Nintendo gaming consoles and handhelds were taken to a whole new level, where the games like Pokémon, Zelda, and Mario have been modernized to attract many customers to buy their products. Every system of Nintendo console or handheld has been revamped to give the best gaming performing for people to have competitive competition or to have fun with their self or with their friends. The NES system used a MOS 6052 8-bit processor because that was the latest technology in 1985. During the NES system was introduced in America, there was two other competitor gaming system with the technology of the 8-bit processor. Those consoles were named Sega Master System and Atari. The top popular games that were introduced into the NES system was Super Mario Bros 3, The Legend of Zelda, Duck Hunt, and Super Mario Bros. These games from the past helped Nintendo produce to further their new system called the Super NES. Super NES also was known as Super Nintendo Entertainment System was released in 1991 in the United States. The upgrade version has enhanced the system with new graphic, better quality of sound chip, and the new hardware that allows some of their games to play in 3D. The word super in Super NES already gives a suggestion that the system was the improved version of the NES. This system contained a new processor called MOS 65c816 with 16 bits and the all their game is still cartridges. The new MOS processor is different from the old 8-bit version because 16-bit was faster in send and receive data. The handheld system was released in the United States on June 11, 2001, where people could take the games on the go. The link cable was a cord that allows the Gameboy Advance to interact with another user. The device still uses a cartridge format because disc took up too much space. This device uses a 32-bit process and had to use 2 AA batteries to play their games because there were no rechargeable batteries. The most popular games that were ever played and bought into this system were Super Mario Advance 4 and Mario & Luigi. After the success of the Gameboy Advance, a new handheld console was forming and called Game Boy Advance SP. Gameboy Advance SP was released in 2003 and it was the upgraded version of all the Gameboy series because this device was very different from all the other system.
