There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (). The Christian faith, their followers focus on being sons and daughters of Christ. Trying to make their lives better and repent their wrong doings to reach the eternal life. In the Buddhism faith, their followers focus on finding peace with themselves. They both try to be the best followers of their own faith and find happiness their own way. Also, "Most see it as some realm of Creation\c where one lives in bliss and joy, free from cares, worries and pain of Physical Creation" (Ferlic 1). Followers of the Christian faith believe that heaven will free them from the pain and suffering in this world. Heaven is a concept with a variety of meanings and all those meanings usually end up connecting by saying that heaven liberates the soul and makes their followers happy. Additionally, in Theology the definition of heaven is "The residence of God and his angels, where virtuous souls receive eternal rewards after death, especially in the Christian religion" (Ferlic 1). This quote states that "virtuous souls receive eternal rewards after death' which means their followers will receive Heaven as a reward for living a good life. However, how do they know that they are living a good life? Living a good life is different in each religion. According to the website I found "Most religious traditions have their views on what is good and what is bad and what one needs to do to access and be assured Heaven" (Ferlic 1). This quote is clearly stating that what the Christian religion states as a good life could be completely different to the Buddhist religion or the Islamic religion. Christianity and Buddhism have many things similar on how in both religions their followers want to reach peace and happiness causing them to be nicer. They try to be peaceful with everyone, so they live a good life. They also differ in the fact on how they want to accomplish their goals on getting to their Heaven or Nirvana. Most if not all these traditions in both religions are still the same. Their followers still try to be nice and helpful people which leads to having a better society because at the end of the day their followers want to reach that peace or that happiness, nobody wants to go to Hell or not go to Nirvana.
