While most people are aware of Noel’s colorful antics, there are still many things that we do not know about this high-flying bird. Here are six things you did not know about Noel Gallagher.

1. Rock and Roll Roadie
Before the whirlwind days of Oasis, Noel was working as a roadie for the rock band the Inspiral Carpets. As their roadie, Noel would prearrange the band’s equipment in preparation for the concerts. Swing Batter Batter
At this point in time, Noel was hard at work recording Oasis’ next album while brother Liam went to a pub and brought back with him a crowd of highly intoxicated people. Noel forced the crowd to leave, which angered Liam, so Liam took it upon himself to break down the door and barge right in. Noel retaliates by picking up a cricket bat and whacking Liam with it.

3. Gone Fishing Okay, so Noel does not go on an actual fishing trip, rather he compares songwriting to that of being a fisherman. Noel explains that singer-songwriters are always on the lookout for great songs and they must be quick at grabbing those songs. If not, they run the risk of losing out to another singer-songwriter.

4. Snip Snip, Here We Go
Most rock bands consist of a lead singer, lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, bassist, drummer, and possibly a keyboardist. In the case of Noel Gallagher’s High-Flying Birds, he has a rather unique instrumentalist in his band, a scissors player. Yes, you heard right. Scissors. Now that’s cutting edge. The now famous scissors player is a French woman by the name of Charlotte Marionneau.
