Since 1901, we have been committed to providing our customers with the best possible service-- and to improving it every day.” Menswear at Nordstrom focuses in on consumerism; giving the men the best experience they can have with the brands that they offer. Their brand description is very vital to the company and menswear section itself. Nordstrom’s Menswear provides over 100 brands for their customers to shop from. Nordstrom has been focusing in more on Menswear, due to the recent demand for the shift in men’s interest in fashion. In response, they have added many more luxury brands, as well as adding extra square footage to the menswear sections in stores. They offer their higher income target market quality-oriented Menswear merchandise to the best of their branding ability. Nordstrom’s Menswear target market goes after the everyday metrosexual. In other words, men who like to look good, feel good, and take care of themselves. Nordstrom offers quality-oriented brands for male customers, such as Theory and Yves Saint Laurent. In relation to the quality of the brands, the price point at Nordstrom is higher. This attracts upper middle class and wealthy consumers. Nordstrom is knowledgeable of the fact that men love looking good, but hate shopping. As a result, they target men who may not be as knowledgeable in fashion, but have the money and motivation to look good.
