North Shore Animal League, a national and international leader in the no-kill movement, is engaged in saving and improving the lives of homeless safeguard animals and teaching the public about the joys and constraints of rescue. Since the organization founded in 1944, they rescue, nurture, and adopt nearly 18,000 pets annually into stable, loving homes, plus assist in the adoptions of thousands more through global partnerships with other organizations. Therefore, the North Shore Animal League mission statement is correctly and precisely presented, and they are making their effort to save lives of an innocent animal, in another word, they are on target with their mission.

As North Shore Animal League is passionate about saving lives and creating a future in which all companion animals find responsible, loving homes where they are free from harm, hunger, despair, and isolation and receive the care and respect, they deserve. They are proud of their history of innovation in animal welfare striving to make continuous improvements that protect many lives and support other shelter and rescue groups.
