(HOOK) The human brain can process up to 40 billion pieces of information every second, controlling our thoughts, actions and interactions with others. (CI) In the same way, our brains have the ability create memories that will stay with us for all of our lives. (GS1) Accordingly, these experiences allow us to grow and learn from as we get older. (GS2) Moreover, it is often that we must challenge ourselves to reach the outcome we desire in the end. (TOPIC SENTENCE) Throughout my life I have always been very studious, thus when I had the chance to (THESIS I) take part in my seventh-grade science fair I instantly began searching for (MAJOR A)project ideas that would assist me in (MAJOR B) entering the Northeastern Ohio Science and Engineering Fair. (RE-WORDING OF MAJOR A) In order to impress the judges at the science fair, it was imperative that I had a creative and intriguing project.
