There are many differences between the Midwestern and Norwegian culture. Such as food, economy, commercial activities, sports, entertainment, and the music revenue. In America we love to eat steaks, everyone loves a nice steak dinner. Well In Norway they love whale meat. This is one of their top meats and is usually eaten as a steak or in a stew. As for commercial activities Norway is a world leader in the producing of newspapers, magazines, and books. In Norway winter sports are the most popular, they do have many sports in common with the Midwest as well. In Norway they have many types of entertainment such as festivals, night clubs, cinemas, concerts, operas, hiking, and dance clubs. The music industry in Norway has started to grow and increase a lot since 2008, what are they doing that the United States wants to do more of? The Midwest and Norway share many similarities but also have quite a few differences. One major difference is food in the daily life. Food in Norway is much different than here in the Midwest.
