1. Description A. At my previous University, Notre Dame of Maryland University, I belonged to a student run organization by the name of S.W.E.E.T; Strong Women Empowering Encouraging Transforming. The mission statement of the organization is to create a diverse sisterhood that encourages Notre Dame women to honor themselves and instill integrity through community and charity involvement, as well as learning many ways one can express themself through creative outlets. The organization was composed of at least 30 members and 4 E-Board members one of which including myself. B. While at Notre Dame of Maryland University I created this organization as a way to give back to the community as well as to bring a different type of student run/student supported organization. Due to being a new organization without much support it was pertinent that everything was orderly and professionally done at all times. My best friend and I constructed this organization over the summer, at the start of the fall semester we got an overload of girls interested in joining the organization. I think it was a clear hierarchy within the organization who ran it and who was in charge of what sector. I served as President while my best friend served as Vice President. In the beginning, she was apart of an intense research project so she was unable to help with anything involved to the organization, consequently I managed it all. After a month or so she returned. I then managed the community service while she planned and constructed our public events. After a successful semester of being on campus we held interviews for E-Board positions. We interviewed for a publicist, community outreach committee, treasurer, community service chair and social action chair. With the organization catching the eye of the University as well as their partners and supporters, Tierra and I were being pulled in too many directions to plan; not to mention we were freshman and sophomores at the
