As an individual with a passion of stepping into the lives of others during testing times towards making life easier, I am determined to develop a fulfilling career as a nurse practitioner. Having graduated in BSN from Barry University in 2014, currently I am serving the emergency department at SMH as a registered nurse. My fervor of transforming into an impeccable nursing professional through sharpening my knowledge and skills has inspired me to continue my education. At present, I am enrolled for the Master of Science in Nursing program at the Nursing School of Barry University and getting specialized in Nurse Practitioner Acute Care. I look forward to graduating in 2020. My short term goal is to become a certified emergency nurse and obtaining necessary training to effectively execute my responsibilities as a charge nurse in my department. My dream long term goal is to get certified as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) specialized in cardiothoracic surgery.
