This paper is an evaluation of Ohio State University, The College of Nursing Baccalaureate Program and how it correlates to their Mission and Philosophy statements. The program evaluation includes the established criteria and standards set forth by Ohio State University, The College of Nursing compared and contrasted to overall how the accreditation process is established and upheld through the program. The focus on the development of knowledge and scientific skills of the researcher is very important for the effective accomplishment of the program and the high professional level of students, who complete the program. Furthermore, the program intends to develop professional skills of students to make them capable to utilize Evidence Base Practices, scientific research overall related to the ?systematic principles of health promotion, risk reduction, disease prevention, and illness management across the continuum of dynamic healthcare environments? Researchers (Rounds & Rappaport, 2008) argue that the ACEN standards are good to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing training programs. Also, the BSN program is effective in terms of its curriculum design oriented on the development of practical experience of students (Bosch, et al., 2008). Some researchers (Tadd, et al., 2011) argue that the effectiveness of the nurse training program depends on the overall objectivity of the assessment and evaluation of its effectiveness. The BSN focuses on the diverse and profound evaluation of outcomes of learning and the compliance of the actual student performance with the program expected outcomes. Students of the program complete the program successfully because a large share of students gets employed as nurses, while many students continue their education
