Nutrition Analysis Between the five days that I had recorded my nutritional intake, there was a significant difference between the weekdays and the weekend. I found that I ate a lot of more unhealthy foods during the weekend compared to the weekdays, but I ate a less amount of snacks. That is because I went on a hiking trip during the weekend and so we did not really pay attention to eating foods that would be nutritious to us; instead we focused on foods that would give us quick energy. On the weekdays, I was at home, and there was not much variation during those days. So, I was not very surprised at the findings of my nutrition analysis. This is because I like to have sugar and salt, even though I try my best everyday to limit how much of each I take in. There is not much to change for the intake of the days I analyzed my nutritional intake, but one thing I could do is to lower the number of snacks, and therefore my sugar and salt intake, so that it could help me be more healthy. For my ideal diet, I chose a scrambled omelette with vegetables for breakfast, a salad and sandwich for lunch, and some wholemeal chicken pasta for dinner. In addition, I have noted down a lot of fruits, vegetables, meat/beans, dairy, and grains as part of my three main meals and also through my snacks. I have picked these meals because these are some healthy foods that I would actually eat, in comparison to some other healthy options out there. I believe that the foods I have chose are a good mix between the different food groups and I am not taking in too many unhealthy nutrients and substances. As a result, I have now seen what I have eaten during some of the weekdays and a weekend. The food choices I have are not the most unhealthy, but there is definitely room for improvement in my nutritional intake.
