Nutrient includes carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, vitamins, and minerals that are absorbed and give bodies with energy or help bodies grow and repair functions of bodies. Metabolism is chemical processes that are the ingestion and digestion of the food and remove waste products. Energy balance is the relationship between calories ingested into the bodies by food or drinks and calories burned through physical activity. Kids need to have 1,600-2,500 calories per day and exercise for 60 minutes a day. There is 1 in 6 children who are obese in the United States of America. The problem is the price of food and lack of time management. Most parents are aiming foods that are cheap like cookies cost around 2.50 dollars or fast foods like McDonald’s. Healthy foods are really expensive that most parents can’t afford like a bag of apple costs around five dollars. However, it is important for parents to watch their children too. If parents can’t afford healthy food, they need to find ways and ask someone to help them. There are doctors, teachers, and many adults who willing to help children. They need to have nutrients like complex carbohydrates like green vegetables, whole grains, beans, and corn, healthy fats like olive oil or avocados, proteins like chicken breasts, turkey breasts or fish, and vitamins and materials like fruits. Parents need to learn about methods or anything to help children. If their mother is overweight, children will be overweight because of eating habits. Children always look up their parents and follow their parents' steps. Parents need to gain knowledge and show them they can exercise and eat healthy foods. There are a lot of children who hate fruits or vegetables, parents need to find a way to make them eat without knowing that they eat
