Increased Obesity Among Adults In America Nowadays, because of advanced in technologies adult will rather shut themselves into individualist activities such as watching television or using a laptop and at the same time reduce activities. This leads to overweight among adults. According to NIDDK statistic between 2013-2014 about 70.2% of men and women are overweight or have obesity, 32.5% are considered overweight, 37.7% have obesity and 7.7% are extremely obese (“Overweight & Obesity Statistics”). Moreover, commercials of junk foods and advanced in technologies have influenced adult and their physiological status of being obese. This has become one of the common problems which can be solved in various ways, but the most common ways are bariatric surgery and living a healthy lifestyle.
