Forcing restaurants to display calorie counts has also raised some controversy with in the country. There are many different opinions on what’s right. “Opponents charge that the federal government simple has business forcing privately owned restaurants to post calorie counts, if costumers cared about calorie counts they claim, they would refuse to eat at restaurants that didn’t display them” (“Fat World”). The government can do everything they want to try and control obesity and help people understand why it is so bad, but it may not help because many people more people are eating junk food more often and are eating more than in the past.
