As a nutrition student in the area of dietitian at very reputable university such TWU, as a member in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, which it is one of the largest and very important food and nutrition organization world arise, and a heath care professional, nurse assistant for children at one of the companies where patient health is our excellence such as HCA, I would like to call your attention to one of the biggest nutrition issue that has been double in children and tripled in adolescents in the past 30 years, which it is obesity. I would like that you to take into consideration to support the Stop Subsidizing Childhood Obesity Act (S. 2342) which is a bill that denying any marketing and advertising direct to children to promote their consumption of children food which has poorly nutritional quality. …show more content…

According Robert Wood Johnson Foundation report if this increase consumption of poor nutritional quality food continues in the United State adult obesity rates could exceed 60% in a number of States by 2030. Additionally to the obesity problem a factor that concern me the most is that obesity can lead to many other diseases such high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol levels, infertility, back pain, ulcers and gallstones, which eventually will increase our adult population poor health
