How in the world will I be able to speak in front of a group of students for five minutes? This was my initial thought at the beginning of the semester but now going into my informative speech I knew I was given the tools and ability to overcome my speaking fear and present for five minutes. The informative speech was one that I was looking forward to but also very anxious about. I didn't know what to think going into the speech because of the length, etc. but informative speech I did was presented on smart phone for toggery fee I had to use an objective statement, integrate a PowerPoint, and incorporate the score organizational method into the speech.
First off talking about using an objective statement for my speech. I was very hesitant on a speech that had to be revolved around one statement. When thinking of the statement I didn't think I would be able to talk for five minutes solely based on this one statement. After listening to examples in class I then knew it was possible if I had a good objective statement. Throughout the actual speech having that objective statement was something I can always lean back on and find my place

I didn't think this would be a huge deal because I thought of it more as a speech enhancement then a disability. By this I mean I would use the PowerPoint to and Hance what I say instead of having to speak and then speak about the PowerPoint itself. I use many photos in my speech to portray my Point and I hope the audience benefited from those pictures. One challenge I did find one presenting with a PowerPoint was the urge to look back at the PowerPoint and see if it was on the right slide even though I didn't look back I was very tempted to check and make sure that I was on track with the PowerPoint. I would love to continue to work with PowerPoint or some sort of media in my speech because I feel it gives another element to help the audience stay engaged when giving a lengthier
