Odysseus As A Leader In The Odyssey By Homer

Odysseus in a leader that chooses to risk his and his men’s lives, just to get back to Ithaca and get back to his family.In the story “The Odyssey” by Homer, teaches us about Odysseus and how he demonstrates that a leader takes challenges and dangers in the hardest times. This late results of him risking the lives of his men and losing a couple men from his crew.

The first time he risked his men’s lives was when they were running away from the Cyclops. Odysseus begins by stabbing the cyclops in the eye which causes the cyclops to be furious. He then tells his men to get on a boat and to start heading off to the ocean. After setting off to the ocean Odysseus starts to tease the cyclops and telling him that nobody did nothing to his eye. This
