The Importance of the Epic Hero Odysseus People go through challenges every day and the lessons learned are what helps them grow. Odysseus, the main character in the Odyssey, is a hero who shows people today how to use their intelligence to get out of a situation and not having to have physical strength due to his participation in the Trojan War and his journey back home.
