In “The Odyssey” Odysseus was confronted with a variety of challenges and obstacles that put his skills to the test. In the story, he had strengths and weaknesses that determined the outcome of his journey. His strengths were that he was a courageous, smart, and self-disciplined leader, but his flaws were his ignorance, pride, quick temper, and stubbornness. This often leads him into dangerous situations, putting his men and his own life at risk. Odysseus can make the right decisions at the right times, this is what made Odysseus’s journey successful, he was a strategist.
