On earth there are a lot of things that are similar to one another. For instance fruits, to hairstyles, to personalities, to ideas and many more. But the two most similar characters from two different novels are Odysseus from The Odyssey by Homer. and The Count of Monte Cristo from The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. These two characters are similar in the way that they think, what has happened to them, to what they did and how they did it and much more, but here are 3 distinctive ways they are very similar. Odysseus is on of the smartest characters I have ever read about, he skillfully thought his was through his plan and even put himself in danger before he started it just to gain information with the help of the gods of course (insert link about athena helping od). In The counts case he didn't get the help of the gods but he did consider himself a god a few times throughout the book. The way he planned for revenge on the people that have betrayed him was astonishing, first going to see who he could still trust as did odysseus, pretended to be someone else as did odysseus, and went back to a significant place Odysseus case where his child was born, The count is his home.
