OJ Simpson a young healthy man, with dreams and ambitions. Until all fails and he is accused of double homicide. OJ was a Highly rated athlete in highschool playing multiple positions he could do it all. He is very athletic with a huge personality and charisma. He was in Hertz commercials showing off his fame with deals for commercials also in RC cola, and Chevrolet. To add to that he was an “actor in plenty of movies including Naked Gun and Towering inferno”(IMDB).

OJ was “born in 1947, He was born in San francisco. OJ’s real name is Orenthal James Simpson, His aunt gave him this name.Which allegedly was the name of a French actor she enjoyed. Simpson has one brother: Melvin Leon “Truman” Simpson, and two sisters; Shirley Simpson-Baker and Carmelita Simpson-Durio. “As a child from 3 to 5, he wore homemade braces after contracting rickets”(AAREG). As a young kid he joined the Persian Warriors, a San Francisco street gang and was jailed at the San Francisco Youth Guidance Center in 1962. He also “Played football at Galileo High School in San Francisco”(AAREG). He played offense and defense, he was named to the Junior College All-American team as running back. These early football achievements helped boost him in track and field, he exceeded by winning almost all of his races and relays. A day later OJ was notified of the murders while on a business trip in Chicago. When he returns to Los Angeles he is temporarily handcuffed. “If the early reports of the murder of the wife of the ex-NFL football star (turned-NBC-sports-announcer) hadn't caught people's full attention, Simpson's surreal Bronco ride on the day of his arrest certainly did--ninety-five million television viewers witnessed the slow police chase live”(Linder). The 133 days of televised courtroom testimony turned innumerable viewers into Simpson trial addicts. The case on OJ was built on multiple pieces of evidence. The most known one was the famous bloody glove found at the crime scene. The glove matched another glove found at OJ’s house. There was also evidence that Nicole Brown Simpson was abused by Simpson. They argued that he had a reason to kill her because of their toxic relationship. Simpson’s defense team, led by Johnie Cochran, argued that the evidence was circumstantial and that police did not properly handle the investigation. They also stated there was no reason for OJ to kill his ex-girlfriend and her friend. The defense team used a famous phrase in the case “If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit”. At 10am on October 3, Judge Ito's clerk read the jury's verdict of "Not Guilty," 91% of people viewing television
