Orenthal James Simpson became the trial of the century, his rise to fame must be understood. O.J. Simpson was born in San Francisco, California in 1947. When O.J. was in high school at Galileo High School, he was a standout on the football team. Even though he was a fantastic player, he had to attend City College of San Francisco to get his grades up and then eventually landed at the University of Southern California. Once Simpson was on the campus of USC he caught the attention of everyone, winning the Heisman trophy in 1968, and also being a two-time all American running back at the school. “O.J. Simpson Biography” Simpson was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 1969 and had one of the best careers in NFL history have five consecutive years of over 1,000 rushing yards and he was the first running back to have over 2,000 rushing yards in a season. “O.J.
