People always ask me what’s my next step in life after high school and what colleges I have in mind to go too. Not sure if I want to attend Oklahoma State University for the veterinary program or go to Oral Roberts University for nursing, very big decisions to make for my next step to the future. The histories of the two universities are very interesting to learn about, because you know what happened before. According to OSU new and information it states that Oklahoma State University known as before Oklahoma A&M was established on Christmas Eve in 1890, signed by Governor George W., at the Mckennon Opera House. To be part of the honors program you have to have 27 or higher composite ACT score or 1220 of higher SAT score, high school GPA 3.75 or higher. If you have college credits you are required to have 60-94 credit hours and minimum of 3.30-3.50 GPA. Most popular majors offered are business/marketing, engineering, and family and consumer sciences.
Big future College Board states that Oral Roberts University also offers bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees. Majors that they offer are business and marketing, theology and religious, and visual and performing arts, very different from what OSU has to offer. For the honors program you are required to have 31 composite score for the ACT, 1360 in SAT, need to demonstrate service of leadership, letter of recommendations, and also 3.5 GPA minimum.
