In the book “Into The Wild,” The third person, omniscient point of view affects the narrative of the story by allowing the reader to understand and analyze more than one character and it helps build the story. In the story, Rusty is just a regular housecat until he wanders off and runs into some wild cats living in the forest. The wild cats say that they are divided into four clans and live by a warrior code. The leader of one the clans, Bluestar, invites Rusty to join her clan. After thinking about it, Rusty decides to join the clan and gets his warrior name, Firepaw. Throughout the story, the third person, omniscient allows us to know what the other characters are thinking, feeling, and doing and this also helps the reader analyze them. It
