As per the National Golf Foundation (NGS) report, around seven million women and girls will hit the golf course in 2023, making it the highest participation rate since 2005, which was already a record high. From 2020 to 2022, over 800 thousand American women embraced the sport, bringing the number of female golfers to 6.4 million. During that time frame there was a rise of 15 percent, in the number of golfers, while the male golfing community experienced only a slight 2 percent increase as reported by the Washington Post.
