I really love this book so much that I can’t decide which favorite part of the book I should tell because I really like every part of this book so maybe I’ll just tell three of my favorite part of this book. My first favorite part of the book was when Day’s older brother John said that he would rather die for Day than see them hurt him. This part really touches my heart and while reading that line it made me felt that I was Day he was talking to. Imagine he would do anything and even risk his own life just to save his brother, how lucky Day was. It only showed how much his brother love him and it was really touching to the point I almost cried when John said those words. While reading that part there are many questions and thoughts that came up in my mind, like what will June do next, I also wondered if he’ll choose Day over her mission or not. But I was wrong, she called her commander and told that she already knew where Day was and it breaks my heart. I just can’t believe that she will surrender Day to her commander after what Day do to save her. Until she figured out everything and I was really amazed with her skills, no doubt she was the Republic’s prodigy. The clues lead her to a site which is really made for her. She read all the blogs of her brother and this is where everything’s revealed. It started from how her parents died. Her parent’s death was not just a simple car accident; it was planned because her parents knew something about the Republic’s secrets. As I was turning every page on this part of the book, I have different thoughts about the next thing that might happen. Everything was revealed slowly and it makes sense now. There are no secrets that will never be revealed, secrets are to be revealed maybe not now but soon enough. So many revelations but the most heartbreaking part is when June discovered that it wasn’t Day who killed her brother, it was her brother’s childhood friend. Imagine that, it happened because of the power and it was really unexpected that the last person you thought that will never do something bad to you was the person who will actually do it in the first place. It was really proven in this story that looks can be deceiving. You’ll never know whom you should trust and
