In Elie Wiesel’s speech, he talks about how humanity is suffering everywhere and human rights are violated on every continent. This leads into his point that one person can make an impactful difference in the world that changes everything. This quote stuck out to me in Elie Wiesel’s speech because he states that one person can make a change that affects life and death. I believe that this means the actions of one brave person to make a difference can affect the lives of millions. It made me realize how one small action or one strong speech like Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech can impact many lives for the better. Different groups of people all over the world experience hate and opposition, like Elie Wiesel’s novel focused around
